Mr. Chernin currently sits on the board of American Express Company and serves as a Co-Chairman of the University of California, Berkeley’s Board of Visitors. He is also a Co-Founder and Co-Chairman of Malaria No More, a non-profit dedicated to the global eradication of malaria. He is also on the boards of TCG 1.0 (among other TCG 1.0 subsidiaries), TCG, TCG 2.0 GP, LLC and Connor Schell Productions, LLC.
Mr. Chernin is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley with a B.A. in English Literature.
Jesse Jacobs, Co-Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Jacobs is a Co-Founder and Partner at TCG, where he co-leads the company’s investments, operations and team-building activities. Mr. Jacobs also co-founded TCG 1.0 with Mr. Chernin in 2010. Prior to founding TCG 1.0, Mr. Jacobs was a senior member of the media, entertainment and sports advisory, investing and financing team at Goldman Sachs. Mr. Jacobs began his career in NFL, MLB and NHL sports television production at the inception of Fox Sports and then for CBS Sports as part of the team covering the Olympics. He was part of the early wave of online video and online music both at IFILM, where he ran content, and also at Yahoo! Internet Life (a joint venture between Yahoo! and Ziff-Davis), where he produced live music and film events celebrating the best in digital video and digital music. Mr. Jacobs also co-authored a book on the digital media industry.
Mr. Jacobs is on the board of directors of TCG, TCG 1.0, (among other TCG 1.0 subsidiaries), TCG 2.0 GP, LLC, OrangeDot, Inc. (aka Headspace), Barstool Sports, Inc., The Action Network, Inc., Hodinkee, Inc., Goldin Parent, Inc. Mr. Jacobs is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania with a B.A. in English and Communications. He also earned an M.B.A. from the Wharton School at University of Pennsylvania.
Mike Kerns, Co-Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Kerns is a Co-Founder and Partner at TCG, where he co-leads the company’s investments, operations and team-building activities. Mr. Kerns joined TCG 1.0 in 2015, helping lead the company’s investment efforts as President of TCG Digital. Mr. Kerns has deep experience starting, managing and investing in digital media and consumer technology companies. Prior to joining TCG 1.0, Mr. Kerns was a Senior Vice President at Yahoo!, where he led the Homepage, Video and Global Media Properties product and business unit. This business was one of Yahoo’s largest global P&L and serviced more than one billion monthly users. He previously co-founded Citizen Sports, where he was CEO and led the company to a successful acquisition by Yahoo! in 2010. Mr. Kerns began his career as an Associate at Angel Investors, L.P., working for Ron Conway. In 2001, Mr. Kerns became the Chief of Staff at Steinberg & Moorad Sports Management, a premier sports representation firm.
Mr. Kerns is on the board of TCG, TCG 2.0 GP, LLC, Food52, Inc., Barstool Sports, Inc., The Action Network, Inc., MeatEater, Inc., Surfline, Inc., Sketchy Group LLC, and is a board observer of Baron App, Inc. (aka Cameo). Previously, Mr. Kerns was a member of the Board of Directors of Otter Media.

Jennifer Randle, Chief Financial Officer
Ms. Randle is the Executive Vice President of Finance & Operations at TCG 1.0 and TCG. Prior to joining TCG 1.0 in 2012, Ms. Randle was Controller at Century Park Capital Partners where she was responsible for the accounting and financial reporting for the limited partnerships, general partnerships and the management company. She also oversaw the company’s administrative and operational efforts, which included information technology and human resources. Prior to joining Century Park Capital Partners, Ms. Randle spent nearly four years at Worldview Technology Partners, where she was responsible for all accounting and financial reporting for the limited partnerships, general partnerships and the management company. Ms. Randle started her career at KPMG, where she spent nearly three years in the San Francisco office auditing large public companies and pre-IPO start-ups. Also, during her time at KPMG, Ms. Randle spent time in the tax group and worked on tax compliance for venture capital firms and law firms.
