Item 5.02. Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
On July 18, 2024, Philip J. Ebeling notified Inspire Medical Systems, Inc. (the “Company”) of his decision to resign as Chief Operating Officer of the Company, effective as of August 9, 2024, in order to pursue a new professional opportunity as President and Chief Executive Officer of a private medical device company operating in the cardiology space. Mr. Ebeling’s decision to resign was not due to a dispute or disagreement with the Company or its management regarding any matter relating to the Company’s operations, policies, or practices. Mr. Ebeling joined the Company in June 2020. The Company intends to commence a search for a new Chief Operating Officer with the assistance of a leading executive search firm.
