Item 5.02. Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
On October 31, 2023, Meridian Bank (a subsidiary of Meridian Corporation) announced the retirement of Charles D. Kochka, Chief Lending Officer, effective December 31, 2023. Mr. Kochka has served in that position with Meridian since 2009. Mr. Kochka’s duties will be assumed by the Senior Commercial Lending Officer and the Senior Commercial Real Estate Lending Officer, both of which have extensive market knowledge and experience and have been working with Mr. Kochka since 2009.
