Europe • During the past decade, the European (EU – 27+UK) avocado market has grown at an average rate of 12% per year, and the total market is currently estimated at 861,000 metric tons(1)– a clear indicator of the European market’s growth potential. • Mission continues to increase exports from Peru, Guatemala, Colombia, and other regions to fill in supply gaps to meet growing demand with a consistent year-round supply • We established a state-of-the-art FDC in the United Kingdom (UK), planned to open in 2023, to support new direct retail relationships and expand our UK customer base.
