Item 5.02. Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers
On November 29, 2021, Guilliaem Aertsen, IV, a director of NewReal, Inc. (“NewReal”), the general partner of New England Realty Associates Limited Partnership (the “Partnership”), informed the Partnership of his intention to retire as a director of NewReal effective December 31, 2021. Mr. Aertsen’s decision to retire is not the result of any disagreement with the Partnership on any matter relating to the Partnership’s operations, policies, or practices. Mr. Aertsen has served as a director of the Company since March 2002.
