ITEM 8.01 Other Events.
On December 20, 2024, Arch Capital Group Ltd. (the “Company”) renewed its share repurchase authorization of $1.0 billion, which may be effected from time to time in open market or privately negotiated transactions. At September 30, 2024, approximately $1.0 billion of share repurchases were available under the Company’s share repurchase program. From October 1 through December 13, 2024, the Company did not repurchase any common shares. This new program replaces the Company’s existing share repurchase authorization.
